  3. Keith says:

You’ve got a drink named after you? Fantastic! A little heavy on the tequila…but that’s okay.

  4. Lobsterdeth says:

Add some Red Bull and you got an alcoholoc Speedball, perfect for getting drunk while studying for your finals. (don’t ask)

  5. Ian Shirley says:

    I Just tried it.
    It’s definitely not for everyone.
I can fairly say I am not a fan of the Edgar Wrighttini.

  6. Michelle says:

You’ve really made it now, haven’t you? That is awesome. You’re probably 82% caffeine by now.

  7. Carolina says:

The Edgar Wright-tini! jiji need one right now!
    Cheers!

  8. Joy says:

This would sound so much better if I wasn’t still suffering an atrocious hangover after last night. Agave syrup, however, is a nectar of the Gods.

  9. joel vallie says:

Is this a hang over recipes?

  10. Fred says:

    Y’know us brits? Yeah.
We all have a special recipe for our liquor.

  11. AlWiltfong says:

  12. Dylan says:

  14. victor says:

hmm… noice! lemme no when wells names a street in ur honour

  15. Julian says:

So you’ve finally decided to kill yourself? You’ve decided to add the two main essences of the Patron XO Cafe ON TOP OF IT plus the syrup of the same plant that gives you tequila!?!?!? Are you missing that much sleep that a Samedi isn’t doing the job and you need to drown your sorrows?

Here’s my own concoction for a nice, summery pick-me-up. I know you probably aren’t able to muddle the thing unless you go to a bar, so just get the juices from the lemon and orange wedges and shake and strain it all:
1 Shot of White Rum, 3/4-1 shot of Triple Sec, 3-4 lemon wedges, 3-4 orange wedges, 1 and a 1/2 tablespoon of sugar, 2-3 mint leaves, crushed ice. Served in an old-fashioned glass. If you want some fizz, add a dash of soda water =)

    (P.S. <3)

  16. Marcus Powermouse says:

    Sounds exotic and nicely alcoholic!

  17. angle says:

caffeine cocktail !! i can imagine you buzzing round the set with your t-shirt over your head foaming at the mouth like beavis.

Ps, saw a fantastic Ed/zombie (zombed ?) from SOTD toy figure on the net yesterday at -
    http://www.figuresworld.net/movies_tv/shaunofthedead/cchof2_ze.jpg

    Want one!!

  18. Cordelia says:

Edgar Wright-tini? That’s really hard to say - do you pronounce both the t’s?
Ah well, you know you’ve made it when you’ve had a cocktail named after you
And is that written on the back of a script or something? In my head, anything you write on that’s stapled together has to be a script.

  19. Nick says:

    That’s a LOT of caffeine!

  20. Em says:

    the Edgar-tini

  21. Em says:

    correction: the Edgar Wright-tini

  22. Nadine says:

The Edgar Wrighttini. I suppose it is to blame for the late submission of Saturday’s photo.

*Edgar shakes fist in the general direction of the E.Wrighttini, when he musters up the strength*

Maybe a quiet DVD at home today?

  23. meib says:

    Must try.

  24. SarahAC says:

I feel a little queasy just reading that.

  25. richard casey says:

that sounds like a recipe for disaster!!!

  26. Slick says:

*yawns* I’ve only just woke. I stayed up too late watching PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE. And now I find you’ve got your own ‘tini! How cool is that? I’m going to make a massive pot of coffee in your honor.

  27. Red says:

Hold the espresso and hold the syrup and now we’re talking! But I can only drink tequila when supervised by responsible adults……..it tends to make me run naked with strangers.
Now I’m queasy thinking about tequila hangovers, ugh!

  28. Zadkiel says:

Edgar what do you usually serve this in?

  29. pieface says:

    mmm sounds nice!
agave, now is that something mexican? hmm i should know this…!

(maybe not give any of those to nick frost who has been tweeting about insomnia!

been racking my brains all day trying to remember the coffee manhattans (?) someone mentioned.

  30. Gary says:

Let’s make some wake up juice!

  31. Sarah5636 says:

Wow your espresso addiction is really getting out of control ;) that sound like a really nice drink will have to check it out, im a bit of a lightweight when it come to tequila so this could be a pretty lethal drink for me.

  32. Robert says:

i could have used this last night. all the ingredients were right in front of me lol

  33. wendy says:

OMG..I’m so hungover and this pic of the day isn’t helping lol..uhhh

  34. SarahA says:

This should come with your a complimentary supply of Advil!

  35. MonkeyScroll says:

    Shaken, not stirred.

  36. Michelle in Arkansas says:

Hmmm, I may have to try this, although I would have thought, since you British, that it would have some tea in it somewhere. We Americans love you Brits and the tea thing!

  37. Carrie says:

:/ why does it have to be tequila??

  38. Meib says:

Well…I showed this to my sister, and she told me this shouldn’t even end in “-tini” because there is no vodka or gin in it. She also told me how she would never put tequila reposado in a mixed drink because it has a very special “body” or something, and it would ruin the whole purpose of it. She pretty much ruined the whole magic.

  39. Jenn says:

That certainly looks like a drink I would like. I’m gonna have to try it! :)

  40. mew says:

    heavy duty
