How has every one see this already. I’m sleeping with the wrong people! Sometimes I wonder why I live in Mexico. Last weeks new release Terminator salvation. I love Mexico either way.
Indeed it was glourious. I enjoyed all the cast especially Brad Pitt, Christoph Waltz & Melanie Laurent, right from the opening scene i was hooked & i didn’t even check the time on my phone till the credits rolled. Im going to give it a few weeks & go & watch it again
It really was fantastic wasn’t it? Bold, stunning, devastating, a love letter to the cinema, strangely satisfying in a wonderfully amoral way. It reminded me of that scene in Manhattan: “A satirical piece in the Times is one thing, but bricks and baseball bats really gets right to the point of it.”
Tarantino needs to have his own rules. I think the cut/reorganized version of ‘Basterds’ would be good, but every person who has even only heard of Tarantino would be itching for a longer thing, as Quentin said himself that he was first going to do a mini series. Same with John Woo’s Red Cliff. 4 hours of Woo-hem? Bring it on.
Saw it last night with QT himself at the Drafthouse’s Cinemapocalypse
Hans Landa is one of the best characters he’s ever written.
And Christoph Waltz is a force of nature
*Jealous* (But glad you liked it)
QT came to Melbourne for the premier as part of the Melbourne Film Festival.
Sadly I missed out on getting tickets though. It took me 45 minutes to get through on the phone and the tickets had sold out in the first 5 minutes!!
YESS!!! Another reason as to why you are the fucking man!!! So can’t wait to see this tonight!!!
I cannot wait to see this movie!!!

Quentin’s top 20 films since 1992, stick with it until #17 (or click ahead to 4:23). Seems there’s some mutual respect, Edgar.

Edgar,
have you ever hung out with Tarantino AND Eli Roth at the same time? It’d be like the trifecta of encyclopedic film knowledge.
glad to see the awkward spelling being maintained.
i take it there aren’t enough Juniour Mints to do either of the films justice?
I really want to see that movie!!! I dont think it has opened in the states yet…
It is amazing!
Favourite parts -
“Get the gist!?”
Christoph Waltz & Melanie Laurent’s performance.
Donnie & Omar
everyone go see it!
So which is better, Inglorious Basterds or District 9?
Or is it like comparing apples and oranges?

Tarantino’s take on Nazis. How could it be anything but glourious?
