Okay. Here the sonic caffeine that call themselves Anamanaguchi premiere the theme from the Scott Pilgrim video game at Pax East. With some of the visuals direct from the upcoming Ubisoft game from pixel art extraordinaire Paul Robertson.

I’ve heard some of their other new music and also seen the gameplay. It’s pretty insane.

  • I was at PAX (just got back home, actually), and was totally surprised and elated when they announced this at the concert on Friday night. I'd not actually heard of Anamanaguchi beforehand, but they're definitely worth listening to.

    Man, I love Anamanaguchi! Downloaded their free ep on 8bitpeoples a couple of years ago - it's amazing! Like the Sonic the Hedgehog soundtrack turned up to 11. Perfect choice for an SP game

    Paul Robertson's work on “Pirate Baby's Cabana Battle” was amazing. It's great to see his sprite work in an actual game this time.
