USA / The World’s End Trilogy Screenings with AMC – August 22nd

More cinemas in the US are having full trilogy screenings on August the 22nd, the night before ‘The World’s End‘ is released in North America. Below are the listings for the good folks are AMC who are not only playing the trilogy but giving away a FREE t-shirt!

If your city is not listed don’t despair, other chains have already announced including Regal Cinemas & The Alamo Drafthous. Please note that I don’t organise these screenings so contact the chains themselves with any queries.

Around here at AMC, we’re HUGE Edgar Wright fans. He’s one of the most original, innovative directors to come around in a long time and on August 22nd we’re giving you a chance to see his CORNETTO TRILOGY with SHAUN OF THE DEAD, HOT FUZZ and THE WORLD’S END!

So what’s a Cornetto? Wikipedia said it best, so we’re going to quote them:

Each film in the trilogy is connected to a Cornetto ice cream, featuring scenes in which one of the main characters purchases a Cornetto of the appropriate flavour. Shaun of the Dead features a red strawberry flavoured Cornetto, which signifies the film’s bloody and gory elements, Hot Fuzz includes the blue original Cornetto, to signify the police element to the film, and The World’s End features the green mint choc-chip flavour in a nod to aliens and science fiction.

Alright, let’s get to what you’re in store for on Aug 22nd!

The trilogy will be playing at 29 AMCs around the country and the list is below. We start with SHAUN OF THE DEAD at 5:30PM local time, followed by HOT FUZZ AT 7:35PM, leading into THE WORLD’S END at 10PM. Tickets for the event are going on sale today at AMC locations andonline here.

A few other details:

·         AMC Stubs members will receive $5 bonus bucks to use the day of the event

·         Each guest will receive an AMC exclusive Cornetto Trilogy t-shirt.

·         Each guest will receive a commemorative lanyard
