Here’s another great ‘World’s End’ mash up this time from Sweden’s Chetreo .
DO NOT WATCH if you haven’t seen the movie yet, but otherwise enjoy!

And if you liked that then enjoy some other masterful and equally spoiler filled mash ups by the audio visual wizards Joel Walden, Kees van Dijkhuizen Jr, Osymyso and Mike Relm.

If for some reason you haven’t seen ‘Shaun Of The Dead’, ‘Hot Fuzz’ or ‘The Worlds End’ DO NOT watch the following clip. But if you have then please enjoy Joel Walden and Kees van Dijkhuizen Jr’s megamix of the Cornetto trilogy.

And if you liked that then enjoy some masterful and slightly less spoiler filled mash up by the audio visual wizards Osymyso and Mike Relm.

A little mash-up I made using some of the works of Edgar Wright.
Clips from:
Shaun of the Dead
Hot Fuzz
Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World

It’s been a while since the last Pilgrim mashup. But then along comes this monster. Great editing by Hollywood Streams.

Here’s a great montage of steadicam walking shots by the mysterious Edit Cadet 1. This very particular image, seen in many movies, makes for a fantastic piece when set to Edwin Starr’s ‘Twenty Five Miles’.

What’s more, I’m privileged to have two of my movies in the montage with ‘Shaun Of The Dead’ and ‘Scott Pilgrim Vs The World’. Am pretty sure the same shot is used in ‘Hot Fuzz’ too. Certainly there’s a shot running along with Angel & Danny in the final shootout.

Whatever. This is jolly good fun, although the ‘Pilgrim’ clip could have continued until John Patrick Amedori exploded into coins, mere frames after they cut out.

Enough nitpicks - this is an amazing montage! How many can you name?

UPDATE: The brilliant writer and video essayist Matt Zoller Seitz did a similar compilation back in 2009, this one featuring Godard, the Dardennes and (yes!) a fantastic shot from Temple Of Doom.

Like the headline says, I am not tired of the mash ups just yet. Not when they continue to be this good.

Here is an insane remix of the visuals from ‘Scott Pilgrim’ by Ross Cameron Castle aka ProjexHD.

If you enjoyed this check out a second remix by Projex HD.

And any keen editors out there, keep your eyes peeled next week. We may have a little project for you to commemorate the one year anniversary of the movie (and also 12 months of mash ups!).

This was edited by 19 year old Joel Walden from Toronto, Canada.

And I, Edgar Wright am flattered and awed by his efforts.

Beware spoilers if you haven’t seen all three films though.

Come back when you have. Rectify!

Check out more of Joel’s work here.

Joel, amazing work. Now you need to do one including Spaced, Don’t and A Fistful Of Fingers for the full set!
