Hi tech
Technology fills me with excitement
Especially technology that confuses me
This is cool
sadly it was that cold today
Will a high-flying person be strapped onto that crane-a-majig? Or is it some form of camera apparatus? OHHH THE BEGUILING MYSTERY OF YOUR MARVELOUS PICTURE POSTS!
Working in the slush…that’s passion and devotion.
cold filming day
yay another ‘early’ blog photo.
v impressive. is that a double camera, like the one in the hot fuzz supermarket & wells blogs?
nice blue sky - good for filming.
oh - boo - i was having a nosy round your site in the ‘friends’ section and saw that the adam and joe ’something of boris’ has gone from youtube, shame.
Those guys just look like some of the coolest people on the planet.
Edgar,
Even though this is a bigger budget film, will you still do your traditional use of whip pans and cool editing techniques like in Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz?
Ummm, yes? Director’s signature and all that.
It would be like watching a Tarantino film without the use of a trunk shot and/or briefcase not being utilized…it would just be weird.
Glad to see you’ve got everyone working hard Edgar.
I need one of those little boxes to go under the camera. I am an AC on small shoot in Vancouver and my belt is jam packed with tape and markers and camera reports and flashlights and measuring tape and more more more STUFF. God forbid I drop something, makes it a hell of a time to bend over
This whole experiment, the showing of the behind the scenes process, one snapshot at a time, is just a fantastic idea.
I hope this is something you plan on doing for future films. Or, if this has proven to be too much of a hassle, you at least regularly do a video blog (which you’re ALSO doing for this film, jesus).
One day! One day!
Exciting camera crew shot
i wonder what the crane is for
I thought today you should link your Trailers From Hell here at your new site, ive been over there today catching up on the latest trailers
