awww — looks like maybe you should have a creche with on of those light-up baby jesus’s. maybe we could have eggnog and some christmas music hey that reminds me, i miss the “what you’re listening to” thingy from your myspace page! wish you had that on here, as its such an ace website full of pictorial goodness, i think it ought to be musical too
Cumulative speed: TOO FAST TO LIVE
I think that’s the part it’s from, anyway. Regardless, that is where I wish I was right now. It looks fun. Almost too fun.
So there’s a out break in my country and today it hit the city I live in. Where is Dustin Hoffman when you need him? That first picture is great. I cant wait to see this flick.
I saw a real-life Ramona Flowers on the train today. I badly wanted to take a picture, but worried that would be creepy. Instead, I settled for sneakily staring at her until I memorized every detail. I am 100% prepared to draw you a picture.
The spot for the great skateboard-showdown, I suppose? But, people: Are you aware of the fact that this rail would, technically speaking, be ungrindable? Knobs and all? Then again, we’re talking Lukas Lee, of course…
no wonder you guys had to manufacture snow today. i live in Pittsburgh, PA and it was 92 fahrenheit here today. i can imagine it was a bit toasty up in Toronto as well.
in case you were serious:
Toronto, as well as much if the country, has 4 distinct seasons.
winter is cold, yes, and occasionally snowy(very snowy the last few years, but this is unusual).
spring is warmer and rainy
summer is quite hot and sunny
autumn is grows colder again and the trees lose their leaves.
presently it’s spring, almost summer. yesterday was 27 Celsius here (around 80 Fahrenheit).
so, no, there should not be any snow.
Allright, a winter wonderland or summat of suchness as that. Allright. Perhaps the rails central to the duel of bold boarding skills between a slackter and an actor. Perhaps.
Loving that first picture! It’s like how I would react if I ever got to play in snow… not that it ever snows in Melbourne. *sigh*
That second picture looks rather similar to a park we have in the Melbourne CBD. I’ll have to wander there soon and imagine epic skateboard scenes, singing Tim Minchin’s “Are You Ready For This?” in my head…
Your shirt reminds me of a Danzig t-shirt I used to have. And it’s not the Herzog/Danzig shirt from Mondo Tees…still, very cool. Love the fake snow in Canada!
Awww. Even if that is fake snow, it looks fun to play in…I’ve never seen snow…well, except for the tv & movies…I live in FL haha. These new pics are cool.
P.S., will there be a new video blog up anytime soon?
Why do I imagine an “over 9000″ reference in the Lucas Lee scene?

Yay First!
Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t this the same place (NOT SCENE) where Scott kicks Lucas’ ass down the stairs?!
You are correct those stairs, i believe, are the ones right near Casa Loma
Looks like someone is out on there first date with Ramona Flowers
Ahh — the first date, is it, Edgar?
Snowtastic!
Great Pics E!
Looks like your in the Ice Dance scene in Edward Scissorhands,Lovely

The t-shirt is a nice offset with the snow.

Awesome scene. The first Date
Snow! It’s pretty.
I saw a real-life Ramona Flowers on the train today. I badly wanted to take a picture, but worried that would be creepy. Instead, I settled for sneakily staring at her until I memorized every detail. I am 100% prepared to draw you a picture.
Whoa, it’s already a winter in Toronto!!!
The spot for the great skateboard-showdown, I suppose? But, people: Are you aware of the fact that this rail would, technically speaking, be ungrindable? Knobs and all? Then again, we’re talking Lukas Lee, of course…

“Did you do a lot of skiing?”
“This is getting ridiculous. Isn’t it, like, April?”
Mr. Wright, you know how to please me.
Shouldn’t there already be snow up there? I mean, it’s April.
I know nothing about Canada.

I wasn’t serious. Although, Scott and Ramona’s first date, in the book, was in April, and it snowed. An interesting fact.
wow that looks nice
More importantly, is this the site of Scott and Ramona’s first date? How ferocious can that snow machine get?
EDGAR YOU ARE A SEXY BEAST! i can’t wait to see this movie. i’m going to watch dead right, now…
Whoa, wicked! Can’t believe you got all that snow to stay around when it was so damn hot in Toronto today!
Looks like a gorgeous set.
Really puts into perspective how lame the set I was working on today was.
Keep up the awesome work, and make sure to thank your crew.

i’m waitin on you
Wait, you had to make it fake snow in Canada?
Let the snow fall !!!
Awesome.
“Let there be snow!!”
I would love a snow machine, i would cover my building in snow just to see peoples reactions at the highly localized snow
Just when you need to film some snow - heat wave! Who would have thought a month ago when it was piled up everywhere?
It’s good to be you!
Thanks for all the great pix!
are those the rails that Lucas Lee trys to grind down?
Loving that first picture! It’s like how I would react if I ever got to play in snow… not that it ever snows in Melbourne. *sigh*

I am in love with these photos.
So, it’s Casa Loma, AM I RIGHT???
Oh, I drove by Casa Loma and saw the filming trucks - and just knew it was SP filming. I wish I stopped to get a closer look.
yes - definitely Edgar Scissorhands!
are you saying ‘alakazam!’?
any scenes going to take place at sneaky dee’s? or honest ed’s?
Your shirt reminds me of a Danzig t-shirt I used to have. And it’s not the Herzog/Danzig shirt from Mondo Tees…still, very cool. Love the fake snow in Canada!
Ah, I love these shots!! Thanks for including all of us in your awesome adventures!

…And Edgar said “Let there be snow.” And, there was. And, it was good.
Awww. Even if that is fake snow, it looks fun to play in…I’ve never seen snow…well, except for the tv & movies…I live in FL haha. These new pics are cool.
P.S., will there be a new video blog up anytime soon?
Yes…video blog? I’ve been waiting.
Please don’t get angry… Well,I thought that you were Tim Burton. (Of course, it’s a joke!)
Yay, first date shooting!
Sooo looking forward to this.
Let it snow Let it snow Let it Snow?
It looks like you don’t know if you should be happy or sad that there is snow.
lovely snow! It looks like Edgar Wright: The Musical.
At first I thought Edgar was starring in a remake of “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
Coime to think of it, Edgar should remake that movie. Only with robots.
Edgar! Put on a jacket! Its snowing out!
Can I be you for a day Edgar…pretty please?
