One of these days i will be in the right place at the right time to attend one of these. I would even fly out to LA if your doing another filmfest out there Ed. In the meantime have fun everyone lucky enough to get a ticket
I went to the Bloor Cinema yesterday to purchase advance tickets in person, but apparently you HAVE to buy them online, and therefore have to pay service charges.
I didn’t read anything in the promos about such lameness.

The Bloor Cinema will be selling tickets at the door to the event as well, just not in advance. Online is an option for people who want to insure that they get tickets. We’ve put a cap on the amount of tickets that can be sold online, so there will still be tickets at the Bloor box office come Sunday.
There are also plans to start selling tickets at the Bloor box office on Saturday, July 25th when the cinema opens. Stay tuned for an update.

I got my train tickets today, this shit’s gonna cost me but whatever, sometimes you have to accept you’ll eat Kraft Dinners for a bit so you can live a little in the geek departement…
