I wonder which kind of Smarties they are. We have Smarties in the U.S. and Canada, but they’re not the same as UK Smarties.

Smarties in the US are hard candies that come in a roll and are slightly tart. It’s my understanding that Smarties in UK are candy covered chocolate. Is this right?
yes, yummy chocolate covered in a crisp shell (kind of thinner better m&ms)
the orange coloured ones taste of orange, though rowntrees have always denied they are flavoured or any different to the other colours. but they are.
i just looked the US smarties up and they’re what we call “parma violets” so does that means the US doesn’t have the equivalent of UK smarties?? if so they’re loosing out big time

then again he is in canada so maybe they do have ‘proper’ smarties
Yeah, Canadian smarties are candy coated chocolate (like MMs) but I don’t think they are quite the same as ones from the UK. Wouldn’t know.

So if Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are off filming their own movie, I guess they didn’t have time for a cameo in Scott Pilgrim. (I thought they’d turn up as the Vegan Police, to be honest.)

I forced my sister to watch Shaun for the first time today and she was rather horrified by the disembowelment scene bwa hahaha

That’s true, but I guess it makes it easier to check newer comments for the same blog entry, after you have already looked at the earlier comments, if that is your want.

I’m with Matthew. I’m tooootally holding out hope for a teaser trailer or at least some promo stills pretty soon since you guys are almost done filming…at least I think so haha. Could be wrong.
Hope filming is going great! Hopefully after the movie’s wrapped, all of you will go on a much needed vacation before starting up other projects.
