That’s a good DVD combo, never seen White Dog but from what i’ve just read it sounds good, think i would need cheering up too after watching it. It’s not on Lovefilm so will have to buy it at some point.
Just watched the trailer for Clean, Shaven that also looks good. Will make sure i have my Flight Of The Conchords season 2 DVD at hand to cheer me up after that one
hey, you wanna check out something funny? Check out the american series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Get through the first 5 episodes, and you’ll be rewarded with the greatest 4 seasons of tv comedy.
Ooh, I love Make ‘Em Laugh. I haven’t gotten around to watching the documentaries yet, but I spent half an hour or so reading the book of it, and it was fascinating. Unfortunately, I had to leave the bookstore before I could get very far, and I didn’t have the money to buy it, so I left it there. Don’t worry, book, I’ll come back for you someday. ;_;
Edgar, are you able to provide any information about how the Ant-Man project might be taken over by Pixar? Are you still involved? Is this news to you?
I have to say Edgar you have great taste in film and television. If you could pick your five favorite films of a certain type or genre what would they be? As an inspiring film director/writer I like watching favorite films of my favorite directors.
My wife and I watched Mother, Jugs & Speed toady. She laughed hard and so did I then the whole mood of the movie changes on you. Love it. There’s a lot of jokes in there that people rehashed in other movies like the zipper scene I always thought Something about Mary was the first to pull that off but I guess I was wrong. Great flick I’m looking for the other ones on DVD. Not so easy to find round here.
Make em laugh is such a good series. Very entertaining…and educational. Entercational, if you will. Although that sounds like a term you’d find in a pornographic film. Perhaps Edutaining is the best way to go.
For someone who only knew Burl Ives from his old holiday specials, watching White Dog was a very odd experience. Also, almost anything with Paul Winfield is pretty much great.
Looks like Disney is eyeing to produce AntMan, Edgar. Sounds about right cept it’s uncertain whether or not your heming it still. PLEASE inform us of any news of AntMan! Your the perfect guy for the job.
I would like to see “Make ‘Em Laugh”, especially for the “Would Ya Hit a Guy with Glasses?: Nerds, Jerks & Oddballs” and “The Knockabouts: Slip on a Banana Peel” segments alone. Seems very interesting!

You would certainly need cheering up after CLEAN, SHAVEN too.

Oh I will be very soon.

well im excited but i have my bowels in check
Like, tomorrow soon? *Starts to get excited.*
White Dog is great.
Still blows my mind that it was not “understood” or appreciated in the ’80s.

I want to see White Dog :/
is it any good?
Is Steve Martin on Make ‘em laugh dvd ?
Yes. Some great archive clips.
I have never seen White Dog!! I have watched the Fuller movies pretty much in order and I’m saving Big Red One and White Dog for a double feature…
Pickup on South Street is one of my all-time favorites…

WHITE DOG, the flick about a racist dog that stars Kristy McNichol and Jameson Parker. You really come up with some underground stuff, Edgar.

I just got White Dog last month, still haven’t watched it though.
