Today, I dropped my lens cap down a drain. It was a very real sign that this 365 day photo blog must come to a close.

    It was a hell of a ride!! I have been following your blog since 2008 (when it was just on myspace) and when you made the commitment for the whole 2009 i was thrilled and now happy to see that you really did what you promised to us. It was really an honor to see your daily pictures since you were starting your journey in Toronto till now, i really felt part of the process of your film and i also felt nostalgic and sad when it was wrapped up. Congratulations for your excellent year and i hope to see you here not everyday but at least a few more times.

    Wow, it’s almost identical to the pics in the Paris Breakfasts blog I read. She’s all about brightly colored macarons and pastel place settlings.

    Thanks for a scintillating year of posts and pics! When I word associate with “Edgar Wright” now my first thought is coffee.

  • Fantastic way to end the year. Really. Thanks so much, Edgar. As you would say, these last few pictures “warm the cockles of my heart.” This blog has given me something to look forward to every day. All of us are going to miss that rush of seeing a new photo. Creating something that can genuinely excite people on a day-to-day basis is something that can't be underestimated in the slightest. Thank you!

    Also, I'm over the moon about the fact that I can now say, “Scott Pilgrim is coming out THIS year!” Hope the new year brings you lots and lots of happiness.

    Hey Ed, hope you had an ace new year. I'm having a lazy new years day, i'm watching The Colour Of Magic at the moment. Thanks again for the photo blog i've really enjoyed it, i'm really going to miss you not blogging so much 🙁 Glad you finished with more photos of coffee, i love the last photo 🙂

    That is a real stinker about the lens cap - not an omen - just a sign that the caps should still come attached with those little string thingies. Not cool though.
    That looks like a London sky with that red hue.
    I suppose the first coffee seems a long time ago, but not really. Maybe you could run all of the photos together in a slideshow and put a soundtrack over, and it would be a really bizzare autobiographical short film.
