I just heard today that Ada the loveable miniature schnauzer who played Colin in Spaced is no longer with us.

This is the last time I saw her, at the Spaced Marathon at BFI Southbank on November 10th, 2007.

So sad to see her go. R.I.P. Ada. You were the best.

Here’s me with my good friend Joe Cornish, the writer / director of the currently shooting Attack The Block. Thanks to the amazing Matt Nettheim for the picture, taken at 2.18am in a glamourous car park near fashionable Pentonville Prison.

Here for old times sake is my very first collaboration with Mr. Michael Cera from way back in 2007 A.D.

Okay. Here the sonic caffeine that call themselves Anamanaguchi premiere the theme from the Scott Pilgrim video game at Pax East. With some of the visuals direct from the upcoming Ubisoft game from pixel art extraordinaire Paul Robertson.

I’ve heard some of their other new music and also seen the gameplay. It’s pretty insane.

You will like.

When I make a film or TV show I like to cram it with as much detail as possible. For one thing, my favourite film RAISING ARIZONA took me a full five watches to spot all the minutia.

And I loved every discovery along the way.

You always hope that someone out there will take the time to spot all the details.

Well just over 24 hours after posting, the guys at Gamervision are all over it.

Wow. Thanks to Luke Brown for spotting all the TLC that’s gone into this already.

There’s more where that came from.

Like the subject heading says.

Hope you enjoy.

  • Apologies for the tardiness in posting, but here’s a round up of all the footage of the amazing Spaced flashmob from last Saturday.

The finger gun fights from SPACED 2.5 are still two of my favourite scenes I’ve ever shot.

To see all hell break lose like this, mere minutes from where we edited this very sequence is heartwarming indeed.

You crazy people, I love and adore you all.

Many of you went along to the Spaced Gunfight Flashmob in Trafalgar Square last Saturday.

Perhaps some of you really wanted to go, but couldn’t.

    Well, you are not alone…

    Enjoy.

Thanks to Antonio Piluso for this great video.

This is the second Scott Pilgrim rap in one week.

    Rather astonishing stuff.

This time it comes from Adam WarRock (from the War Rocket Ajax crew - top marks for the Flash Gordon reference) and manages to recap the first 5 volumes of Bryan Lee O’Malley’s books in 5 minutes of rhymes.

This rap was recorded just this weekend in anticipation of the final volume of the comic book hitting stores July 20th.

    Enjoy below…

And go here to show some love on Mr WarRock’s site.
