and oh, if you want a pic to show with your comment, go get a gravatar!
Pictures and a vblog on the same day - you really are spoiling us!
Have a great weekend!
Awesomeness once again.
WOW!
You’re really treating us lately!
And I thought you were being generous before!
These exclamation marks are necessary if a little embarrassing
I guess this is Lucas Lee’s film within a film? Really nice title
I hope it’s the “kiss me, I’m dying” one because that line just cracks me up!
‘Talk to the fist cos the wrist is pissed’
haha so that was new york. don’t know if its the v early start but i see a darker edge behind the eyes of the usually fluffy Cera?
now go have yourself a bday Edgar! (and then rush back and share it with us!)
Happy Birthday Edgar - good luck with principal photography. Go…go…go…
Ah, definitely the early-Volume 2 gear.
Thanks Edgar, this is great.
Hope it’s been a great birthday Edgar, and i hope you didnt spend all day working, great pictures, great video blogs.
Awesome. Hope your having a Happy Birthday.
Looking at the second picture..makes me feel like theres something behind me :O lol. I like that movie title ..sounds like a good cheesy kung fu flick.
Happy, Happy Birthday!!
Great pics as always, Thanks!!
not bday or photo related, but here’s Total Films list of the top 67 movies of all time.
from the blurb for ‘Pink Flamingoes’ i’m guessing most naff nightclubs of the same name don’t know about the film!!

Wow - New York for your birthday. Looks like fun. They even have those same chairs as you have on set.
Are the chairs from somewhere like “Crew Chairs ‘R’ Us”? Are the little armrest bags moveable from side to side, or does one have to order a ‘left’ or a ‘right’?
Who would know this information? What do people keep in the little bags? Warm gloves? A texter?
These photos answer so many questions, and generate so many more.
Happy Birthday Edgar! Thanks for the posts and general awesome-ness!
Great photos as ever!
Cera looks like he still has bed-head.
Or has he been carefully styled that way for the role?
HAVE A FANTASTIC BIRTHDAY EDGAR!!
Much love
x
Him not having had a haircut for a while plays and integral role in the books, so…
Happy Birthday my friend. Your living the dream and your a inspiration to us all. Thank you for making Spaced because years ago it was that show that inspired me to get off my ass and go for the dream as well. All your work continues to inspire me and I’m sure this new movie is going to blow my socks off. Happy Birthday.
Poor Michael…is Edgar being mean to you???
Another great picture, Edgar!
Happy Birthday Edgar!
Why not kick back and watch some kung-fu movies ^_^
Happy birthday, Edgar!
The pictures are lovely <3
Happy Birthday Edgar!!
Lovely photograph. I hope your birthday was filled with will smith and martin lawrence influenced jokes. Bad boys for life.
Cool photos thanks Ed
Happy Birthday, Edgar!! Thanks for the gifts you give to us, the Fangirls and Fanboys!!!! (Now step away from the computer and go enjoy your day!).
This has to be where the Lucas Lee fight takes place. Let’s all be honest, that “fight” is the least interesting of the bunch, and having it take place on a movie set makes it that much more interesting.
Michael Cera and Edgar Wright look gangsta in that photo…
wow edgar…that is one bday present from spielberg and jackson - in talks for ‘untitled third tin tin film’, apparently!
hope you’re bday was fab! i keep thinking of this bit of dialogue from Spaced…
‘Is this your first time paintballing kid?’
‘I’m 35′
‘Is this your first time old man?’
‘Yes. Yes it is.
that picture looks similar to my profile picture on myspace
Hah. Finally gettin’ to the Gidgeon pah’ of the story, you are.
