This update is the highlight of my Saturday night. This either says a whole lot for your blog or very little for my life.
It’s definitely the former. Or else it says very little for my life, too!
I’m really interested to see how you’ve structured the movie because books 1-3 are so different from 4 and 5. 1-3 we’re at the beginning of this relationship and it’s cute and flirty and everything’s moving along quite quickly. But book 4, honeymoon’s over. Problems start to surface in scott and ramona’s relationship, more of the truth /past comes out. Sex bob-omb doesn’t play for like 4 months. Scott moves out of his apt with Wallace, Kim moves in with joseph and hollie, Young Neil is almost none existent, there’s the beginnings of a relationship with Stephen stills and knives and, oh yeah, Gideon keeps digging his claws further into Ramona, pulling her back, quite literally.
Books 1-3 everything moves really quickly and 4 and 5 things slow down and start to fall apart which, actually, really works heading away from that midpoint and into crisis moment, now that I think of it. Even with that structure inherent in the books, there are so many side relations and plots that it will be really interesting to see how you tackle those for the big screen. I cannot freaking wait for this movie.

Those blue lights make me think of those bluelight specials kmart used to have a few yrs ago…lol.

There’s something delightfully cartoonish about those holes through walls.
Only if were really a cartoon then the holes would be in the shape of the outline of someone (or something)

I totally hope we get Brandon Routh with Tetsuo hair when he vegan-throws Scott through those walls.
I look at these pictures and I smile. Then I remember just how wacky the comic gets and I realise how faithful you’re being to it, then I remember how awesome and creative director you are and I get all *warm* inside and I get get excited.
And I don’t get excited at all anymore.
Can’t wait.
P.S. - I Love how the wall holes look a little like an 8-bit videogame
