You + Me both buddy. Shame my suites aren't as sexy as yours...!
  • Double the Dougall goodness! Nice.

And I never heard of that AA Gill guy until he admitted to killing an orang-utan or baboon or whatever it was. Anyway, he's a total prat in my book.

Hahahahaha...Is one of the gags an image of your editor friend in the screen posing the same way on his chair?
  • If it wasn't for the flash equipment, I'd think I was looking at a photo of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop :)
  • You could not have said anything nicer. Paul, my editor, loved that.
  • SarahAC
Tee hee. I *heart* BBC Radiophonic Workshop!

Poor Edgar. You need an espresso machine in your edit suite.

    Editing a Lucas Lee film?

I watched Shaun last night. It once again made me happy. I find something new about it to enjoy every single time. Like how you have two of British television's most popular couples in one film. Tim and Daisy and Tim and Dawn. I've noticed that before, but I still love ti.

And I see your catching up on your Empire reading as well. Am eagerly awaiting that editions release at my local Borders.
  • FairyGodmoose
    That poor baboon. ;_;
  • M.
Winifried Hailey is in a movie with Lucas Lee! Excellent gag for Scott Pilgrim fans. ^_^
  • Editing on the Sabbath... now you've gone to far. I appreciate the work that went into making this photo. I cant wait to see the final product.
  • SarahAC
I have investigated the photo in close-up ala CSI. I even shone a blue light on it and you don't want to know what I found! ;)

If you ever get bored with making films Edgar you could get a job editing The Sunday Times.

It just occurs to me that this isn't a Dickens/Wright joint. Looking at imdb I see he's working on Paul. Does he just follow Simon Pegg around, or is it that Mottola and him look alike, or what's going on there?
  • Dickens was unable to come to Toronto for the shooting period for various reasons, so we didn't end up doing this together. But in his place are the not to be underestimated Paul Machilss and Jon Amos. Paul was the online editor for all of SPACED and the second half of the second series (Eps 2.4 - 2.7) and is a comedy genius and Jon is an amazing editor who did a lot of the action sequences in Hot Fuzz with me and Chris. Very excited to be working with them both.
  • Drew
Well that's good that you had good choices in lieu of Chris Dickens. Looking forward to the film. Good luck with those cuts
