Friday April 2nd, 2010 - Attack The Block

Here’s me with my good friend Joe Cornish, the writer / director of the currently shooting Attack The Block. Thanks to the amazing Matt Nettheim for the picture, taken at 2.18am in a glamourous car park near fashionable Pentonville Prison.

How is it that the two of you manage to take a fantastic picture in such terrible circumstances?!

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee! *jumps up and down* I'm very excited about this!

  • AuntieNubbins

I should be pleased enough to see two such lovely, smiling faces but I'll confess that my first reaction was 'ooow, nice lighting'. Thanks so much for slipping this one to us.xxx

Edgar, just a weird question but were you ever on Going Live with Sarah Greene in 91/92 with an animation you'd put together about the homeless?

Man, I just can't sleep. I just watched Hot Fuzz again and am applauding your genius, mainly due to insomnia but ever so slightly less immediately than your artful portrayal of the Fabian dream crammed into the microcosm of a nice country village. Do you run across many people who actually get that aspect of the film? Anyway, top job, whether by accident or through the narrowly-dodged bullet that leads to a life of walking on sidewalks mumbling to yourself. Just thought I'd say thanks.
