My brother’s friend has a 13 year old son who, two years ago, came up with this amazing film idea as a school project.

I can’t believe I missed this! This is great, and Sam is kind of a genius. I’m just sayin’, the kid knows what it takes to make a great movie.
And it’s so nice that someone else recognized Nick Frost’s abilities, and is allowing him to play multiple roles. Truly a worthy challenge for that gifted thespian!

I think this film would be the first to get 6 stars. Angelina as Mary, Jack Black as Judas, Peter Serafinowicz as Pontius Pilate, Jessica Hynes as the Holy Spirit, Matt Lucas as John the baptist, Michael Smiley as Legion (the demon infested man) and funded by Mel Gibson sounds like a hit.
Um…I know it’s been said. But seriously, I would LOVE to see this get made.
I would front you the ticket prices of going to see this a dozen (or more) times if you would like.

you could throw in a nice cameo of Mark Heap and Peter Serafinowicz playing the thieves that jesus was crucified with and nick frost could totally pull off playing all the romans

I like how Sam misspelled your surname and then just squeezed in the capital “W” beside the capital “R” to fix it up. That’s the kind of subtlety I achieve and I’m more than twice his age!

yes, “all the romans” was the selling point for me.
It has “hit” written all over it. And I like the mispelling (twice) of “Staring Simon Pegg”. I can imagine him as Jesus, wandering around, staring intently at everything.
